Kidztown Success! Testimonial

Kidztown first began in our church in October, 2005. Prior to this, our children were enclosed in Sunday School classrooms with a traditional setting while the youth, on occasion, had their own class.

Since Kidztown has started, our kidz attendance has grown tremendously (kidz are telling their parents they want to go to Kidztown), the youth have excelled beyond anyone's dreams, and our church is becoming alive in areas we didn't expect Kidztown to impact.

I thought this program was meant for the children, yet seniors are asking to help (bringing snacks and helping with special activities). Our community's business people have donated resources, equipment, and supplies (eg. cordless mics). The excitement is infectious! Adults keep "popping in" just to check us out!

And the youth? Let me tell you about them. I said I thought Kidztown was for the children. But I firmly now believe the youth are getting just as much benefit. They have finally found a purpose in our church, and their influence is exceeding many people's expectations. We've only just begun! It is so exciting to see where we came from and I can't wait to see the results in the champions we are raising!
